ROMANIA

"Romania's history dates back to ancient times, with Stone Age hunters inhabiting the region around 8,000 BC. The modern Romanian state emerged in 1859 through the union of Moldavia and Wallachia, gaining independence from the Ottoman Empire in 1877. During World War I, Romania fought alongside the Allied Powers. The state united with Transylvania in 1918. " -Wikipedia

Romania is famous for her castles, monasteries, salt mines, and beautiful towns like Brasov and Sibiu. Its also known for its beautiful landscapes from the Carpathian Mountains to the Black Sea. Perhaps Romania is best known for its legendary royal, Vlad Tepes a.k.a. Count Dracula.
